La prevención de enfermedades laborales, ambientes sanos de trabajo y disminución de costos generados por accidentes han sido una preocupación constante en Colombia; desde el año 1979 se dio inicio a la reglamentación en esta materia. Los últimos decretos (Decreto 1443 de 2014, Decreto 1072 y la resolución 1111) le han dado un vuelco total a la salud ocupacional por cuanto a través de estos se ha establecido el requerimiento de la implementación del Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SG-SST) el cual debe instaurarse en todas las empresas.
Este curso está desarrollado para dar a conocer los cambios que se generaron al pasar del Programa de Salud Ocupacional al Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, los cuales no fueron solo de terminología como se llegó a pensar. Además, se hace un análisis rápido de los requisitos mínimos que deben cumplir las empresas respecto a esta exigencia por parte del Ministerio de Trabajo colombiano.
